About
The Brand
Romantic, nostalgic, and inspired by the wide open midwestern skies and youthful summers in Mexico. I grew up with stories about my family and their life on a ranch on the Costa Grande, while spending mild summers in colonial Puebla. Imagining, in my head, the cotillion ladies dressed in their fine silks and laces, walking those same cobblestone streets, eighty, ninety, a hundred years ago.
My pieces reach for this past, while remaining relevant for the modern day. Utilitarian where it needs to be, yet precious where it counts. Each piece made with materials sourced for their provenance, chosen because they carry weight and history.
Made to be as enduring as the landscapes and the memories that inspired them.

I ride, I write, I sew, and sometimes I travel. Sometimes I like to make beautiful clothes, but other times, I’m just trying to make something that I haven’t quite been able to find. Silk hair ties that won’t pull on my hair, a comfortable pair of riding jeans. If I do my job well, I can manage to hit both.
I studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and worked with Irish designer Sorcha O'Raghallaigh in London, cutting out delicate Chantilly lace and beading flowers onto wedding dresses. After returning to Chicago in 2016, I founded my label, choosing the midwest as a base for its unique vantage point. Removed from fashion capitals, allowing space for creation at my own pace.
